This forum makes me glad I'm single

Some of the things women have posted about doing on here. Unreal. No wonder men don't trust you.

Us happy, normal couples don't post on here. We just occasionally pop over here from Recent Topics to see the circus.

Real life makes me glad I’m partnered. Our life isn’t perfect, but I’m not living my life through a screen.

Ymmv.

Funny, it makes me glad I'm not single. I guess it's great that we're both happy about where we are though, right?

+1 I've never posted our marital problems on here. Only provided feedback. Compared to most on here, we don't have that many issues.

This forum makes me glad I found my DH. He's not perfect (I know.. neither am I), but he's pretty awesome compared to some of the men on here.

+1 But I do like reading about how much everyone seems to hate their spouses/sibling/kids/MILs. Makes me grateful for my life.

Same. I've been happily married for almost 30 years. People would be bored to death if I posted about our marriage. No drama. No fighting. Just two people living very happy, but very ordinary lives.

+1. I never knew how many weird people there were in the world until I started reading this forum.

OP, I am single too and I feel the same way. It's really no different in real life though. I listen to some of the things that my married and divorced friends do and say and I am happy that I have chosen to live a peaceful life. If I find someone to partner with, cool.

It’s easy be be virtuous and judgemental until you’ve lived someone else’s life.

But hey.. you do you.
