Less than DC -

No one in Manhattan cares if you are paying under the table / person is not legal to work in US

Many in DC do as they are too concerned about security clearances (not that our current administration cares)

We paid $22/hr in the UWS with two kids, on the books with paid vacation. That’s a bit above market. Market for our neighborhood is around $20/hr.

No, live out. I know live-ins exist but I don’t know anyone who’s had one.

Main criteria being good nanny, not VISA status
