I'd like to feed Dr. Collins to a troll.

Sorry, just a joke based on all the back and forth. I liked the Collins character.

Any announcements on her return for S2?

In addition to the Javadi/Mateo story line, did anyone pick up on the long eye contact/significant looks between multiple sets of characters:
--Santos and Garcia, seemed like there was an attraction brewing with them prior to Santos dropping the scalpel on Garcia's foot
--Whitaker and the nurse who offered to help him get new scrubs
--Dr. Robby and the corporate rep w the company who wants to buy out the ER, and offered to make Robby regional medical director

Maybe there'll be more developments w those in S2

Feel like it started off super strong and then the season lost steam with the shooting and Jake storyline. They should have taken more time to establish the show and hospital before going mass casualty event, especially one tied so deeply to family trauma.

Makes me concerned next season, they’ll just go ridiculous with the storylines.

Yes, this should have been one of those famous 22 hour ER shifts.

Yes I did notice this. Garcia was always impressed with Santos. They kind of dropped that storyline though.

Jake was a huge mistake. There was absolutely zero believability there. And his attitude afterwards towards Robby seemed over dramatic.

+1 This show is halfway over the shark already.

We still don’t even know much about Robby’s mentor, who died during Covid. I sort of have a hard time believing Robby is so affected by this. I do wish they somehow could have developed that better. Robby had a breakdown in that room but then he’s back to normal as if it never happened? He’s also fine aftwr Jake yelled at him?

+1 agree with all this. I lost all interest in the last 3 episodes.

I agree too. I did like the fast pace and the action, but it did seem a bit much.

And the Jake storyline did nothing for me.
