Those coupons from Ulta, not good on "Prestige" brands

So about once a month or so Ulta mails me a little catalog and on the back is a coupon; the one I got the other day is for $3.50 off of a $10 purchase, not good on "Prestige" Brands.
So I look at the list of "Prestige" brands on their website...and it's EVERYTHING. I can't think of any brand I would buy at Ulta that is not on that list.

So have you ever used those coupons? On what? What do they sell there that isn't a "Prestige" brand? Thanks!

This is one of the reasons I can't stand Ulta. It's basically a high-end CVS!

Nope, don’t buy anything and pitch the coupons, advertising and the hundred or so fragrance cards that come with it.

You can use it on the drugstore brand stuff and the Ulta brand stuff pretty much.

I'm not sure if it's just from signing up at ulta.com or because I have an Ulta credit card, but every few months they'll send a 20% off coupon in email that CAN be used for pretty much everything except for Chanel.

I think I got one of these coupons in April (maybe March) and I stacked it with my points and ended up getting $450 of makeup for around $200.

I used to use Ulta coupon, now they are pulling a fast one by limiting it to Drug Store brands. I can by drug store brands at CVS with better sales and coupons or online for less.

I picked out $50 worth of make up at Ulta and when I went to pay with my coupon, they said the coupon didn't apply. Now I buy most of my make up online, not Ulta unless I want to try the color in person.

I rarely shop there but there was some good sales recently...so I ordered Deva products and Benefit products and the coupons wouldn't work on either.

I buy nail polish, Pacifica products, Burt's bees lipstick and balm, pedicure stuff, masks in the drugstore section, hair clips. Most of the stores I've been to have prestige brands on the right, and drug store stuff on the left.

I use them on shampoo, conditioner, and if I need new make up brushes. Their line is ok.
