Is three years the limit when looking back now? Do you really really really believe he has had a change of heart over three years?

It was something said in the heat of the moment. Yes, three years is plenty of time to reflect on how he could have phrased that differently.

Thank you. J6 is more than three years in the past. I am sure those people have reflected and changed. Let's stop talking about it.

Obviously very different. They took violent action against our government. They were convicted of actual crimes.

Republicans DGAF about “law and order”. Or kids getting shot up at schools.

And were pardoned. It's more than three years later, why are we still talking about this?

That wasn't a real gallows. Just like this guillotine isn't real either. It was a protest symbol, nothing more.

Many people do wonder what it would take to change Republican’s positions on school shootings.

We want fewer gun deaths, not more.

It would take ideas that would actually reduce school shootings.

Who pardoned them? Oh right, the mob boss who sent over his thugs who were trying to make a "show of force" and chanted "hang mike pence" while violently storming into the Capitol.

These would certainly help reduce gun violence:
Universal background checks
Red flag laws
Limits on the number of guns you can purchase in a month
Limits on magazine size
Limits on certain types of ammunition

Why do Republicans (including Miyares who voted against most of those) oppose common sense gun laws?

I mean we're taking about it in part because they were pardoned. You realize the fact that they were pardoned makes this much, much worse right?

Why don't we just limit your 1st Amendment rights instead so you don't post so much drivel?

The fact that he didn’t act on his fantasies really isn’t the point.

He will be the top law enforcement officer in VA if elected.

His texts reveal that he cannot be fair when it comes to prosecutions.

You’ve never taken a logic class, have you? His texts in no way point to how he would handle prosecutions. That’s like saying Jimmy Carter actually committed adultery for lusting after women. (He was just a very good man who held himself to a higher standard than most everyone else.) Thoughts are not actions and having stray thoughts do not mean they will determine your actions.

Totally stop school shootings? Remove all guns.

Lower the frequency and death toll?
Mandate gun storage
Age minimum to purchase
Universal background checks
Red flag laws
Limits on the number of guns you can purchase in a month
Limits on magazine size
Limits on certain types of ammunition
Better healthcare
More SEL in schools

The RIF announcements by the White House and the OMB director today will help Jones steer the conversation back of Miyares being a MAGA Trumper and likely secure Jones the margin of victory.
