| I inherited the planning of a big school event from another PTA parent. To give a general example, we have 25% of volunteer slots filled, but 75% remaining for people to sign up. I want to make a signup genius to fill the remaining slots, but also include the names/emails of those who already signed up for the other slots. Is that possible? I can't figure this out from their help pages. Thanks in advance. |
| From your description of the issue, I'm not seeing why you need to create a new sheet. If you use the current one, people can still sign up for unfilled slots and see who else has already signed up. What am I missing? |
The prior PTA parent got the signups on paper. So I need to include the existing parents who signed up on paper, plus the new ones for the unfilled slots. Thanks in advance!b |

Oh... You can do it manually, but it will take a long time. (Perhaps you've already tried this.) Set up a sheet with all the slots, including those already filled. Then use the add/edit/delete people button at the top of the page to fill in info for people who have already signed up.
There may be a better way, but I haven't looked for one. |
| One more idea -- A shortcut would be to create a Group and import the names/emails of people who have already signed up into the Group. Then you would still have to assign them to slots, but you wouldn't have to retype their info. |
| I think you will have to manually add them as PPs have said. So create the form with all the slots, go add in all those who have already signed up, then make it public and share with the others you want to have hopefully sign up, |
| I'd do the signup with all the slots open, and then manually fill in the names of the people who have already signed up. So what 23:25 said. I've had to do this for a couple of the moms who aren't tech savvy, so they ask me to sign them up for X date for soccer snacks. |
| I just did exactly this for baseball snacks - the coach had started to pass around a sheet at practice but I told him I'd just do a SUG. I entered manually the ones that had already signed up. If you do it when you're not logged in, you can enter any name and email address. (If you're already logged in, it'll default to yours but you can select "This isn't me"). |
