I grew up in a materialistic wealthier area like PP and I can tell you, those bad values are infectious and hard to detox from. Be glad those kinds of people isolate themselves with each other. |

My order of preference from best to worst: B; A; C; D.
How about everyone else? |
Option 1 from the initial options but moving Wheaton Woods to WJ or Woodward (ideally WJ) https://sites.google.com/mcpsmd.net/boundarystudyoptions/home/woodward-initial-options |
I was responding to a WJ parent who called your schools trash and said nobody wants to send your kids to them, thank you very much. My point is WJ has no reason to be snobby towards anyone when WJ isn’t viewed very well among Whitman circles. Sometimes you have to be harsh to humble people. |
Use the current options. Which do you like in order for A-D |
Yawn. Whitman trying to be white savior? Go away |
I don't really like any of them. I dislike D the least, followed by A, B and C which I dislike the most. |
I prefer status quo too, but reality is change is coming. I dislike D the most. Why do you dislike it the least? |
Because it doesn't leave 3 DCC schools overcrowded while WJ and Woodward are left 20% empty |
DP - your lack of self-awareness is breathtaking. |
This has always been the plan. Woodward was for WJ. |
The BOE should have written that down instead of approving a boundary study that includes the DCC. If you all want to hoard everyone else's tax dollars for yourselves, at least be honest about it. |
Woodward is meant to solve WJ issues of over crowding. You need a buffer because very soon WJ and Woodward will be at capacity. The master plan has housing congregate on the Pike and throughout WJ. Just take a drive through and see the development going up. And maybe one day Lerner will put something at White Flint. And it's silly to say DCC pays more taxes than the West side of the county, bc that's not true. Option D is the worst |
WJ taxpayers didn't pay for even half of Woodward. GMAFB and learn some basic math. |
|
Still have yet to see a table showing housing in the pipeline for each school.
Where is the "buffer" for downtown Bethesda which is zoned for BCC? Just take a drive and see the development going up? It is lunacy to keep South Kensington at BCC. |
