And I’m stunned by grown adults who openly grieve years following the death of an elderly parent or grandparent. It’s normal to miss a loved one and periodically tear up; it’s not normal to need therapy, medication, and weeks of short term disability to navigate the death of an 80+ year old.

Drivers that stay back in an intersection when turning left. You need to proceed out to where you will execute the turn while waiting for the on coming cars to pass. This allows those behind you to move forward. You have to move to that spot anyway so don’t keep everyone else stuck behind you!

I have a kid who is terrified of dogs and we've taken to asking dog owners to shorten leashes when they are walking on sidewalks with a long, slack leash. They'll even see my DD is hesitant and say "oh he's very friendly!" but not shorten the leash or do anything to show they have control over the dog.

You should have to pass a test on dog etiquette before you adopt one.

If the dog is on leash, they are complying with the law and have the right to be on the sidewalk just like your family. Pick up your daughter if she's that scared, or cross to the other side.
