Does anyone have recommendations for a high-level summer soccer camp?

I have 10 year old twin boys that play travel soccer. Last year we went to the SoccerPlex and did the Barcelona camp which was quit disappointing.. Nice coaches, but every level is accepted and there are just 6 Spanish coaches on 300 kids. The rest are local US coaches.

Does anyone have experience with SAM soccer? is this recreational too? I saw the Dutch Soccer School camp, which looked very professional and high-level players! Anyone experience with this camp?

Any recommendations are welcome

Does your travel club offer a summer camp? Travel clubs usually offer travel-level camps that are open to any travel player.

They do, but that's just one week. We are looking to fill in the other weeks this summer.

And although we will do the club camp, it's more to please the coach than for the quality of the camp..

Marymount Soccer is pretty good. But mostly outside, so can get hot. Kids have an option to swim at the indoor pool.

We were pleased with Coerver when our kids were younger - one summer they offered a week-long option at Nova Field House, so it was much cooler than being outside.

My son did the barcelona camp and the AC milan camp. Coming from NOVA, the barcelona camp was murderous in terms of commute. The Barca camp was way more expensive compared to the Milan camp (fairfax, VA). There were two coaches from Milan, one of which was a former player on the great late 80's & 90's teams. The other coaches were local from Golden Boot, which is a reputable training company in the area. So I preferred the Milan camp over Barca. Milan was mostly outdoors but had indoor soccer training as well within the camp.

Amanda in the Golden Boot office here -- thanks for the shout-out, PP. I'm glad to hear your son enjoyed his Milan week.

OP, Milan this year runs July 23-27 in Fairfax. This is our 12th year with them, so we have a great relationship with the team and they know exactly what we expect from the trainers they send to partner with our top staff. We group our players by both age and playing level to ensure everyone is challenged appropriately.

There's more info available on our website; you're also welcome to call me at the office and discuss your players' specifics.

My son did the Dutch camp in Fairfax last Summer and loved it! We also hosted two of their coaches, great personalities. Dutch Soccer School bring a lot of professional Dutch coaches to their camps and they are all educated to teach the Dutch training methods, and are specialized in working with youth players. They don't play around but make you a better technical player, my son his confidence and technical ability have improved tremendous!

Junior Elite camp with soccer academy, either the residential ones at University of Mary Washington/Randolph Macon or the Junior Premier (day camp) is really good.

I've heard good things about the Marymount camp, but haven't used it. ASA runs some camps too. (Arlington.)

Arsenal Soccer Camp was pretty good. Most clubs have travel camps for their travel teams. Look for one of those close to your home.

For a serious answer: Talk to high school age club coach at your club. For 10/11 year olds if you got 2-4 together you could do your own summer stuff (taking into account family vacations etc). We did that with another kid for about 3 years (10-12) and had great results. Kids and instructors (2) had fun and learned a lot. Being 1 of 30 kids at a camp is not great for skill development.
