Intermittent fasting

My DH is losing weight like crazy with IF. I played around with it for a bit. Fell off the wagon. Going to give it another go. Anyone else here IF? Or OMAD?

Can you please post which regiment did you follow? I am doing a combination of 5:2 and 16:8, but I find that I would rather fast 24 hours and then eat and not just 500 calories, but I am not sure if I am then sabotaging my IF. Thanks!

The first time I did it, I lost lots of weight but it was mostly about getting myself to stick with the schedule by drinking two sodas during my two 24 hour fasts per week. They didn't change the way I felt at all.

Now, I'm 20 years older and that would never work. Now I do more 16:8s and the more days I do it in a row, the better I feel.

NP - 16:8 is my natural cycle, and I've put on weight. I wonder if I try another method it would help.
