It seems as if he’s getting tired of the pretension of the whole thing, and he’s probably getting less and less in return for his faking it. If/when he breaks it off, what will be his reason? Long distance relationship doesn’t work for him? Long term commitment doesn’t work for him?

Wonder if Jen senses this sometime, which makes her overly overbearing, like saying I love you on a public podcast, almost forcing him to say it back. She always seems she’s trying too hard whenever posting together with him, and he’s just kind of there.

It feels like Jen is stuck in a prison and knows it but doesn’t know how to get out of it. So she double downs on the activities and patterns and behaviors that once “served her” but to quickly diminishing returns.

Lots of formerly successful Influencers have faced this spiral. Some of them never made it out.

Yes, agreed. And whenever this comes up on this thread, they quickly post something to try and prove otherwise, but he exhibits all the signs- freakishly old to have never been married, longtime girl friend for a bestie, etc. And I bought his book when he began dating Jen and I read it. Thought it was mildly whiny, but also enjoyed parts of it. Started following him on social media and then discovered he really needs an editor in real life. Constant posts about old white ladies passing, claiming to be a social justice warrior and surrounded by only white people, etc. So I quit following. I won't buy his successive books and if I do, I'll pick them up secondhand, like I now do with Jen's books. Looks like other people are likely doing the same.

She has now managed to once again make it about her. Father’s Day is FATHERS day Jen! And besides, please tell me how you would know one thing about being a single mom. The struggles, the sacrifices. Please, for once sit back and let the dads celebrate. I know what Brando did was horrible to YOU but we all know he was and still is a good dad. He did everything for the kids and you prior to moving out of your house. And I’d be willing to bed he continues to bust his ass today for his children.
