I know they say to get 30 minutes of exercise, 3-5 days a week. I aim for 5 days a week. My question is, can it be split up and still count? Or do I need to do 30 minutes continuously? And is that only cardio?
Like today, I did the elliptical for 10 before 30 minutes of weights. Later, I’ll walk 10 minutes to/back front the bus stop. So 30 split minutes of cardio. Does this count? |
yes, it absolutely counts. You are actually better off splitting it up like this than sitting for 12 hours and then doing 30 min. |
