For people who use collagen, a few questions?

I use Great Lakes and I use two tablespoons a day in my coffee. I have been doing this for at least 6 months. I notice nothing different. I am thinking of changing to another brand. Does anyone else have any thoughts? Should I take more? What’s your experience? Benefits you notice, etc.

I’ve been doing the same for years. Here’s what I notice:

No stomach viruses at all since I started taking it, used to get a virus 1-2 x a year

Thick hair and nails that grow quickly

Reduced cellulite

No joint pain despite very active fitness routines

Worth it to me

I just started Super-C- it has only been 2 weeks and have noticed no changes. You take 6 pills per day. I think I will switch to what the pp posted! 2 tbls in morning coffee seems much easier! Thanks

I have a genetic muation of the gene that controls how much collagen my body makes, and as a result I only produce 50% of what I should. I hate to break it to all of you but ingesting collagen doesn’t do anything for you. You are wasting your money. Ingesting, injecting, absorbing, transplanting it, etc have all been tested on people with type 1 osteogenesis imperfecta and nothing happens. I wish with all the money in the world it did make a difference.

I was using it and it was great. My mother is using it and says her arthritis is doing better. The Zint brand is best

Thank you for this. I took it for a while and didn’t really notice any change. A lot of people say it is amazing but I didn’t experience it.

My mother used it for years for arthritis and said it was life changing.

She then had cancer and had to stop. She said arthritis came back.

Once she was cancer free, she went back to collagen (she mixes it in orange juice I believe. She claims pills don't work as well as the powder). She says she feels so much better now that she is back on it.

She said she has told others about who claim it works for them too.

She already had thick hair so I can't comment on whether it helped that. I can say it helped arthritis a lot.
