Photojournalism student seeking over 40 first time moms for story in DC Area

Anonymous
Hello expectant moms! I am a photojournalism student in the DC area, and this semester we have been assigned to research and photograph a story regarding "The American Family." Because many families can be structured differently, we were able to interpret "family" in whatever way we chose. I have chosen to focus on first time mothers, who are over 40. I would like to learn more about why women choose to wait until later in life to have children, the benefits, and the risks of waiting to have a child. If you or anyone you know might fit this category, please contact me! Ultimately, this will be a photo story, but I am also just looking for people to talk to and learn from. Thank you very much! I wish you all healthy and happy babies!

I am a third year student working to earn my BFA in Photojournalism at the Corcoran College of Art. We are a small art school downtown on 17th St, in the basement of the Corcoran Gallery.
