Ski tipping

How much should I tip the instructors for a full day of kids' ski school (per kid)? Do I pay at the end of our four day stay or each day?

Also, what about private instruction for adults? I've been doing $20 tip for an hour which usually runs $100-$120 in cost. Is that about right?

I've never tipped either. we pay $250 a day per child. And that doesn't even include skis/rentals. We rent skis for the whole season.

Also there are several instructors in and out?! it's not like they have one teacher the whole day. At least not where my kids ski

$20 for a private lesson

I only tip for group lessons if my kids have the same instructor for multiple days and that instructor seems to be particularly good. For private lessons, I tip about 15%.
