best hand lotion for men

Anonymous
Would like to get my husband a splurge hand lotion for his very dry skin. Any suggestions for something male appropriate, preferably fragrance free or very lightly scented? Thanks!

Neutrogena Norwegian hand cream is great. Was recommended by a dermatologist. Not really a splurge, howevernot sure most men would appreciate a splurge hand cream.

Eucerin and Aveeno both have odor free hand lotions that are very good for dry skins

You don’t have to splurge. Get the Eucerin hand cream PP recommended. It’s unscented and works amazingly well.

DH gets psoriasis and without regularly applying lotion to his hands, they get scaly, cracked, and will sometimes bleed. He's tried all kinds of things and sometimes even unscented lotions burn/hurt when he puts them on. He uses Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Unscented - never hurts when he puts it on and works well.

He also uses Neutrogena Norwegian hand cream that pp reccomended. Also never hurts and works well. We keep a tube of this in each car.

Aveeno daily moisturizing lotion.

Eucerin is great but so so greasy. Couldn't put it on and then drive for example. I like it at night but use the Norwegian Formula during the day.

Get triple cream at Bed Bath and Beyond. I have awful dry hands...so dry they would bleed. Before I went to the dermatologist and they gave me an Rx. But this stuff was so much better than my Rx!

+1

This can do double-duty for men's other lotioning needs.

Agree with drugstore recs but if you do want to splurge, Aesop's reverance hand lotion is awesome and definitely unisex scent, if not more manly.

Anything that's applied regularly will work. I'd get a thick lotion for at night, when you don't mind greasy hands. And then a lighter one for during the day after hand washes etc. The key is to use is several times a day.

I agree.

I love this stuff. I keep a tube in every bathroom, next to the kitchen sink and on my desk at work! Not a splurge, but ignore feels great and gets absorbed so quickly.
