Why can't I find alphabet pasta at the supermarkets?

I remember having them as a kid.

You are right. A couple years ago I was looking for alphabet pasta too. I could not find it anywhere but I did find some maybe at Walmart or world market or maybe even giant. I remember it was not easy and I found it when I wasn't even looking for it .

I recently got some at World Market. They were fairly big though, not like the small ones like you find in soup.

My giant carries it too. I just made ABC tomato soup yesterday! It's Giant brand and is in a smaller sized box.

Beware. WhOle foods carries a brand called ABC 123. I got it as a treat for my kid who is finally starting to get spelling. It literally only has ABC and 123. You can spell cab only so many times before the novelty runs out.

I haven't ever seen it at my Giant or Safeway (NoVa), unfortunately. I have ordered it from Amazon or a specialty food site. Thanks to the poster with the head's up for the WF brand one.

Got it at Shoprite recently and also AV Litteris. Could not find it at any of my closer stores (Safeway, Shoppers, Giant, Whole Foods).

Thanks all. I have tried most stores in Fairfax area except WF and World Market.
