Just like the show Veep. But what happens if Biden can’t make it through this term?

Your point of reference is a mediocre tv show? Wow!
You know what happens if Biden doesn’t make it through the term. Doesn’t mean she was ever ready for this level but again we’ve had some pretty bad vps in the past and the country survived. She’s pretty inconsequential at this point.

DP. The point of reference is perfect, actually. We're watching a mediocre tv show in real time, complete with a mediocre VP who is clearly in over her head. There actually isn't a better point of reference.

How does someone with this behavior get to the top?

It’s really embarrassing for us Jamaicans. We work very hard

He studious sister worked hard; Kamala is the nitwit of the family.

I don't get a 2024 vibe from all of this and the sinking ship with everyone bolting in December 2021 -- it seems like something is going to happen soon with her? Is she preparing to resign in 2022?

Or, they are trying to strip out this mess and rebuild before 2022.

There was a photo of her in the WaPo this week—she looked awful. Huge bags under her eyes, skin lackluster. Maybe there are health issues?

Sorry can’t link it. Must have been print edition only. Looked very tired and drawn

Mike Pence’s chief counsel, domestic policy adviser, chief of staff, and press secretary all left by the end of his first year.

Media didn’t question his “leadership style.”

They are treating VP Harris differently because D.C. press is mostly white men and she is a black woman.

I believe the media questioned Trump's leadership style instead.

Do you ever tire of reflexively playing the race card? Because it’s tiresome.

D.C. press were focused on the dumpster fire that was Trump, which overshadowed the much smaller dumpster fires within Pence's office. This isn't a race thing.

You’re full of it. Pence had three chiefs of staff in four years plus a whole bunch of other resignations a year in and nobody said a word about it.

If you don’t think every departure wasn’t covered in the press then you simply weren’t paying attention. And nobody cares about Pence but when you basically position Harris as a near equal and then she falls on her face then yeah, it’s going to be covered. And a diversity hire will always face more scrutiny because it was made exquisitely clear that she was hired primarily for her gender and skin color. Frankly she was set up to fail and she certainly obliged.

Oh, spare us. The media - and you people - viciously dissected any and all movement within the Trump/Pence WH and you know it. Yes, this *must* be because she's a black woman.
