Best at-home hair color product?

Anonymous
Can anyone suggest the best at-home hair color product? Looking for something very easy to use that will give a natural color. Thanks.

If you are not looking for permanent color - try Natural Instincts. It gives your natural color a kick without a commitment, and blends in the grays. Lasts for about a month or two, depending on how often you wash your hair.

For permanent color, L’Oreal Excellence

That's what I use. Just to brighten my dulled blond hair a bit, but not dramatically. It hides a few grays as well.

I have been complimented left and right about my hair color (how natural it looks). My recommendation: Switch brands, switch colors each time you color. Otherwise your hair starts to look monotone. So I will do Garnier Fructisse light ash blond on month, then Loreal medium blond the next month.
That's my secret. Shhhh.

6:20 - Do you do the whole head each time or can you do just roots when you alternate brands?

Op here; thanks! One question: I don't actually have gray yet (knock wood); I'm thinking of coloring just for fun, to change my look a bit. Can I still use Natural Instincts or the other products if I have no gray?

Natural Instincts works well whether you have gray or not - probably will work better for you as it does not entirely cover gray, just kind of tints it so it blends better.

I use Garnier Nutrisse. Go one shade lighter than you think you should.
