Recent threads have shown the DCUM ladies to be great at finding dresses, swimsuits, jeans......so I'm hoping I can get help finding a fun necklace for a wedding in a couple of weeks. I need to order on-line cause there is no way I am going to get to a store. the dress is chocolate brown, strapless -- I like the fit and color but it is plain so I need to dress it up with some fun shoes and a necklace. I am picturing either 1) a chunky, beaded one with browns and another color mixed in (pink? red?); or 2) multi-strand with bronzes, like topaz? anyone know of any good jewelry sites? should i go to a bead store and make my own? I'd prefer not to spend over $100. Thanks!
try Etsy.com. Nice, fun and funky jewelry.
Although some of the clothes at Chico's look too "old" to me - I was in there yesterday and they had some great necklaces in brown and bronze tones. They may have these on their website.
I second the Etsy.com recommendation! Amazing, unique, handmade items galore. I have ordered tons of things off the site and have been very happy with everything.

This is a SAHM friend of mine's Etsy site - her jewelry is really pretty, but may be out of your price range depending on the stones.

I second the Queen Bee Designs...they are gorgeous and timeless. Discovered them at the National Cathedral's Flower Mart a couple of years ago and could not resist.
Sorry, I think Queen Bee looks old and ugly.
Target actually has some pretty nice costume stuff.
I've seen the stuff in person. I think it's nice, but way overpriced. |

I love Andrea Tedesco's "scrapple" necklace. It is different sized chain link with semi-precious stones. I wear it long or wrapped twice. They have her stuff at Wink or you can call directly. Her website is:
