OP again. Hmm, upon further review, not sure about this guy--website looks very slick and commercial. I want someone who comes at things from a medical, not cosmetic perspective, if that makes sense?

I went here for some laser hair removal. They were pretty unprofessional - always a long wait, with conflicting explanations. The guy who runs it was more interested in telling me about all his famous friends than anything else.

OP here--Shelly Hall had mixed reviews on other sites, and Rosalyn Epps is no longer practicing, apparently. Wasn't sure about Cultura's approach.

I ended up searching here and seeing good reviews for Urvi Gonzales--seems to have strong good education/training and a good bedside manner, and also I work very close by this practice. I scheduled an appt. with her, so we'll see how it goes.

Thanks to those who provided recs.

Our family loves Dr. Howard Brooks in Glover Park. He's AA, we're not. We have gone for a variety of medical issues--weird rashes, cancer check, bad acne--and have been very satisfied.
