| Didn't sound like Apple hit a homerun with this one - $1000 phone will be a hard sell. Anyone buying Apple @160 + change?? |
| Please. People use their phones more than their car, more than their computer. $1000 is not insane. Adjust for inflation first iPhone was $800. Question is if new feature add value. |
| Stock was higher a week ago. $1000 for a phone is insane. I wouldn't pay it and could easily afford it. |
| I'm not super impressed. I'm good keeping my 7 plus. |
|
Another no on paying that much for a phone. I don't use the phone more than I use my computer. |
| If you seek stock advice on mom boards I beg you to stick to index funds. |
| I like the phone but the price is crazy. They're getting a iPhone Plus sized screen in a normal iPhone form factor; that would probably be worth it for me. |
| I think the phone is cool but I'd never pay that much for a phone. It was different when phone companies subsidized the phone with your monthly bill but now when they are not and charging to lease or expect you to buy it outright, I refuse to do that. We were big apple fans and I'll continue buying computers and maybe iPads (though the new kindles are decent for the price) but I'll keep older iPhones, especially when we have to pay full price. |
| It's going to be a down day for apple stock. |
|
$1000 is the new $650. Get used to it.
|
| stock's down more than 1%. not received well by investors. |
I think people said the same thing to the first iPhone in 2007. |
| I have no doubt all the strivers will be lining up to pay $1000 for a phone, just so people know they have a $1000 phone. Same reason they lease a German luxury car. LOOK AT MEEEEE!!! I'M RICH! |
Same. I hardly use my phone. |
