anyone see this exhibit yet?
I'm wondering if a trip is worth it

Saw it. I liked it. It's on the top floor. The new Whitney is nice and fun especially on a nice day t go out on the different balconies. The other exhibits are good too. A Brazilian photographer in particular I liked.

thanks - sounds worthwhile. I didn't even realize the Whitney had been changed - so that's a 2nd good reason to visit.

Not only has it been changed, but it's a completely new building in a new location!

The new Whitney is fabulous. Great exhibit and outdoor spaces and great location at the base of the High Line. Definitely check it out.

Just saw it a couple weeks ago & liked it. One thing they are doing for this exhibit that's different is "activating" the sculptures on a rotating basis so you can see them moving which is how they were designed to be displayed.

Beautiful building and the Calder exhibit is fantastic. I love the new location, right on the High Line and near Chelsea Market.

Does anyone know what is happening to the old location?

It’s been part of the Met for a couple of years now - they call it the Met Breuer and it’s focusing on contemporary art.
