And, here is another

The back half of this image is photoshopped from the 2008 Concert for America.

Not according to Snopes:

I loathe Trump - and am actually relieved that the pic appears to be true. And am also disgusted that he is such a dishonest POS generally that we even have to question this.

I didn’t see the whole speech. Did Trump mention the U.S. Army’s great victories at Vicksburg (on July 4) and Gettysburg and Sherman’s Georgia campaign? Those really did advance freedom.

Did they ram any ramparts?

There aren't major airports at Vicksburg or Gettysburg, and Hartfield International was never in British hands. Don't you know anything?

Yeah... "the five or six people".....

So everyone took their ponchos off and no umbrellas?

It’s photoshopped.

It’s also why they turned off the aerial mallcam. They learned from 2016.

LOL. Nope. Not photo shopped.

Wow, it was quite a bit, like several thousands.

Even his inauguration was bigger than this.

A train wreck is also amazing.

He can't do this every year unless we change the constitution and makes him an emperor.

(psst.... that is secretly our plan - haven't you heard?)

The pictures are photoshopped. They're extremely blurry and there are hardly any umbrellas despite the torrential rain (and the umbrellas visible in real pictures taken from the event).

I joked about whether Trump cited any victories against the enemies of freedom during the Civil War, but I see in the transcript that in the Navy history he said "In the Battle of Mobile Bay, Admiral David Farragut lashed himself to the rigging of his flagship to see beyond the cannon smoke, crying, “Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead,” and in the Army history he said that "At Shiloh, Antietam, and Gettysburg, our soldiers gave the last full measure of devotion for the true unity of our nation and the freedom of all Americans."

"...gave the last full measure of devotion" is from the Gettysburg Address. I'm guessing the services each wrote their own historical greatest hits summary and the White House inserted them into the speech.

President Donald Trump hosted a Fourth of July event today called Salute to America. Despite some reports you might have seen on Twitter saying that almost no one attended, the attendance was actually quite significant. The photos you may have seen circulating were misleading, as thousands attended the Salute to America event today according to photos shared by people who were there and a live stream of the event. An estimated attendance isn’t available yet, but we will add it to the story if one is shared. Just how many people attended his event today? Learn more and see crowd photos below.

As you can see from the photo below, the attendance was massive for Salute to America today.

Here's the weird thing . . . there is always a big turnout for the Fourth of July in DC and there is always a parade, fireworks, etc. It is not usually "hosted" by the president as it has always been organized by other groups. I believe that the parade was the same as always. The Capitol Fourth was the same as always. Trump "rebranded" the event by saying "he" hosted it. That was highly offensive to many people since this is not a "hostable" event. It's an event that nobody "owns". It belongs to the people.

OMG. You are ridiculous. IMO, whoever happens to be president is "hosting" the DC Mall celebration. Duh. You people seriously need to grow up. It's like dealing with toddlers.
