You're comparing a 2-1 victory vs a decent Potomac soccer team to losing 56-7 to an ok Potomac football team?

Wait, you're taking the efforts of one team as a microcosm of a whole school and student body?

Sidwell has the balance right.

STA is the better model for excelling in the classroom and athletic field. STA is the Stanford of DC private schools. Sidwell? Best comp is the University of Chicago.

Boys varsity soccer
9/23/11: Sidwell 2, StA 0
9/5/10: Sidwell 4, StA 0

Nothing against StA, but your comparison is ignorant.

If you think Sidwell's athletic program compares to STA's, you are beyond ignorant.

Sounds to me like both are pretty respectable programs.

Manifesto McRant: I've had it. I am so tired of what appears to be one mean-spirited poster targeting one school and, for the most part, one team. . . So, I am going to start posting results of other Sidwell sports teams in this thread, and lots of them. And I'm going to bump other threads up when the Sidwell Football Stalker posts their usual mean-spirited responses. . .Sorry, but I'm just tired of reading this stuff for a year.

Prime player from last year's Sidwell Friends basketball team, now a senior, has committed to UPenn

Thanks to whomever has joined my "occupy the Sidwell football thread movement.". To the update above I will add a 3-2 upset field hockey win over Bullis, just last week undefeated and featured in the Washington Post, that knocks Bullis out of the championship race.

Now I'm going to bump other threads because I do agree this one should be ignored.

If you think Sidwell is the #10 basketball team in the area, the #17 lacrosse team in the area and the #20 football team in the area, you should not be allowed to drive.

Sidwell football #20. LOL!
