Dinner in Columbia, MD?

Anonymous
Meeting a friend for dinner in Columbia area tomorrow and we're not sure where to go. We want to go somewhere with nice food and drinks and that's not stuffy. Oh, and nothing too spicy. We've been to la Palapa but want to branch out this time. Any suggestions?

AIDA bistro. It's Italian and they have a great wine bar and wine on tap.

I've been wanting to try out Ananda. It's Indian and looks so good. Great covered patio, too.

Aida Bistro is good but a little pricey. I also like Iron Bridge Wine Company (make a reservation), and Lee Lynn's has great food and a more casual atmosphere. If you like Mexican, the food at Xitomate is great - great margaritas, too.

OP here. I've actually eaten there and it was fantastic. It's a little far for my friend though and she doesn't like Indian. I can definitely recommend it!

I thought Xitomare sucked. Iron bridge is great though.

I may be in the minority but I think the food at Stanford Grill is inedible. It's chain food. A local chain maybe, but still a chain.

One of my coworkers likes Stanford Grill. My parents do not.
