This is my assumption and hope as well. I drive past the Dept of Labor most days, so when I think of Trump’s administration, I picture the big banner of his face that hangs on that building. When it first went up, I was horrified at witnessing the kind of move that usually only happens in dictatorships. The banner still hangs, but it has faded almost completely in the sun and/or rain. You can barely see Trump’s face anymore. And it was only hung TWO MONTHS ago! Don’t know if they printed it incompetently in-house or cheaped out on paying a decent outside banner printer, but either way it’s a constant reminder to me that Trump’s circle isn’t very good at stuff. They are good at creating shock and consternation, but anything that takes real work usually comes out poorly. |
