DD is 17 months and has wavy/curly hair. I wash it every day. I'm looking for a good no-tears shampoo - we've been using Mustela which is good but wondering if there is something better out there.
Thanks! |
| DS has curly dry-ish hair. We use Mustela, Burt's, or California Baby. They're all fine, but I like the scent of Mustela the best. |
| The new baby dove has been flying off the shelves. Haven't tried it yet though |

I like Burts Bees

| California baby |
| Our curly-hair preschooler has been upgraded to grown up shampoo for curly hair, but prior to that we used most of the brands mentioned above, as well as Honest Company. Costco sells the Honest shampoo/body wash in 2-packs for about the same price a Target sells the single bottles ($10-12), so that's what drew us to them. I didn't really notice a difference among all "gentle" brands. |
+1 |
| Unless you need to due to food mess, I wouldn't wash her hair every day. |

California Baby
If you want something more for the curls you could try the mixed chicks brand. They have it at target and on amazon |
| We used mustela then at some point transitioned to other brands sold at WF that are paraben, sulfate, etc free. And still much cheaper than mustela. |
| Shea moisture kids curly line. We use the shampoo, conditioner and spray detangler. They're great products and you can find them at target. |
PP here - curly hair is drier than straight hair. Do not wash it everyday. If it's really knotty use the detangker and wide tooth comb. Or just pull it up. |
This for us too. Sometimes it's just water. No need to mess up the natural oil reduction of the skin. |
| Waleda is really nice for daily use. |
| We use Cetaphil baby on my baby (California Baby was too drying) and Suave Purely Fun for my 4 year old. |
