What's your favorite San Francisco hotel?

We're going on a mini vacation (5 days), just the husband and me, in September to SF. What's your favorite SF hotel and why?

Looking for good recommendations!

PS - I've checked trip advisor, but want more!

Two that I love are the W and the Westin St. Francis ..... but I had not stayed in either in over 5 years so someone might have more recent feedback.
