I am kind of pissed at this poster for making me defend Megyn Kelly. But no, I don’t want to live in a world where we say normal aging is unsightly and should be kept hidden from view. Hide your knees if you wish but I am more than okay with aging knees on display.

I sort of agree with both of you. If she were just running errands and wearing shorts this length, I would not be offended by her knees. But she is wearing a skirt that screams “look at my sexy legs.” Which frankly a woman her age should be over that kind of thirsty fashion choice. And also if you’ve got old person knees, don’t wear a sexy short skirt. I don’t actually think her knees looks old but then again I’m not wearing my reading glasses and I’m 50 myself! There’s very few middle aged women that can wear that kind of skirt and look confident, not sad/thirsty. She’s not pulling it off. The whole look says “I’m so youthful I can wear clothes out of my teens closet and everyone thinks I’m my daighters sister! Right? Right?”

I know. Her knees are fine but she should of of worn tights at the WH. Anywhere else would of been ok.

You shouldn’t defend her. Megyn’s whole shtick is that she’s a “serious” journalist who doesn’t need feminism. This is a woman who complained about Margaret Brennan’s blush during the VP debates. Meanwhile she’s wearing a miniskirt to interview the president.

She poses in outfits regularly on instagram. I check the account when this thread drifts into terminal boredom or Usha arguments. She treats it like a fashion magazine featuring only her. I'm sure she'd love to be in demand enough to really HAVE her own eponymous glossy magazine but that's never going to happen so this is the next best thing. It's 60% her "modeling" poses, 20% family, and 20% misty photos of herself (once her daughter seen from the back walking through a meadow in a long white dress) reflecting on something, like she's making an inspirational poster to put on a wall.

You need to do a public service and post her instagram pics (I don’t know how).

Her Florida vacation wear outfits are her best outfits.

Aging knees are ok if you are taking the grandkids to Disney not meeting the president. Actually I take it back no one needs to wear a miniskirt getup to meet with the president, young or old. You would think conservatives would know this.

It took me a long time (and I do post the pics) to figure it out. Many fails.
What I do is use snip to grab the image, save it (.png file), upload to imgur. Then the trick is in imgur to right click the image and select open in a new tab. THAT'S the link you put in dcum, then select the link and click Img.

When you try to use an entire url from instagram or something it does not work.
