Dutch Wonderland for the under 2 set?

Is Dutch wonderland fun for a 20 month-old? I realize it has lots of rides for older toddlers, but I wasn't sure whether my DS would enjoy it. He's under 36 inches tall.

I took my 19 month old DS there. He could ride the train, carousel, monorail, and also a bunch of the little kid rides (monster trucks, diggers, and I'm blanking on some of the others). I think we missed a few that he could have ridden, like the turnpike?

He LOVED the Thomas show. He also did the splash park. I think he had a good time, but it was hard to tell. Honestly, I thought it was a tough age because he wanted to walk more, but it was too crowded, so we had to leave him in the stroller a lot. Also, when it's hot, he just wilts. Plus there's the whole napping issue.

I was just there today with only our 4 year old and it was a LOT easier.

We were just there a week ago with our 4 year old and 14 month old. My 4 year old had a blast, of course. I think that my baby enjoyed it, too. He loved the waterpark. He also went on the boat rides (3 of them), monster trucks, big slide, airplane and maybe a few other things. I don't think I'd go there just for him, as that's a lot of money to pay for maybe half a day's worth of activities, but he did enjoy it. Also, we went on a Monday (went for the 3 hours beforehand Sunday night) and the park was EMPTY! We didn't wait more than 5 minutes for anything on Sunday night or all day Monday.l

We were there last weekend with a 25 month old and he loved it. We actually did Friday afternoon 2 - 5, and bought the reduced price ticket for the next day and did Saturday morning 10-11:30. Yeah, it was some money, but it was great and our kid loved it. He is under 36 inches tall and there was lots to do. We didn't do the water park, just the rides and shows. Very little wait on Friday, only a little wait for one ride on Saturday at 11:00.
Under 3 set doesn't pay.

We were also there this past weekend with our 26 month old. She is over 36 inches but honestly was scared of a lot of the rides, it took her a while to warm up. So that being said, I probably wouldn't take someone under 2 if the trip was just for that child. Kids under 3 don't pay, but I don't think it's worth the drive etc and the cost of your admission ticket at that age.

Was just there over the weekend --- my almost 3 year old had a BLAST, but I don't think he would have enjoyed it over a year ago. I would stay local (cheaper) and check out Loudoun County fair going on this week: http://loudouncountyfair.com/attractions/children, or try some of the local water parks.

We took DD when she was 22 months and under 36" tall, and she loved it! There was plenty for her to do and she was entertained the entire time. The bigger issue is really whether or not your DS will actually get on the rides suitable for that age group.

My 24 month old absolutely loved it. She could do a lot of the rides- even by herself. She liked it as much as our 4 year old did.

We went last month with our then 20 month old and her 3 year old sister. Both kids had wonderful times - the 20 month old even rode some rides the 3 year old didn't want to!

There was only one ride that she hated (as in, they had to stop the ride to get her off) but she enjoyed everything else.
