Thoughts?
Example - blue with brown centers - do you consider your eyes hazel or blue? |
My daughter has the most amazing blue eyes with golden brown vents. They aren't hazel. They're blue. Hazel is only greenish brown. |
Centers, not vents! |
Rings around the pupil (Limbal ring) fades with age.
So the hazel / blueness will change as you age. |
Hazel would never include blue. |
Agree with this. To me, hazel = a combination of brown, green, and perhaps amber/yellow. The outer part of my eye is brownish/amber. The inner is very green. I have blue eyes in my family, but my eyes have no blue in them. |
I think it does. My dad is blue and green and it's definitely hazel. |
Blue is blue. Hazel is hazel. How is this even a question. |
Wtf. No |
All three are different.
I have blue eyes, my mother has hazel eyes and my DD has green eyes (like her dad). |
His eyes are a mix of the two. What would you call them? They are neither green nor blue. |
I have hazel eyes but was born with brown eyes. They started changing from brown to green when I was in my 20s/ 30s. There is no hint of brown at all anymore. |
NP. I have blue eyes with kind of a small radiating hazel/gold ring around the center. You might not call that hazel, and plenty of people have complimented me on my unique eyes but they aren't pure blue either. |
I banged a chick named Hazel last week, true story. |
I think of hazel as anything nondescript...non obviously blue, green or brown. |
