No but let's be honest. You don't look good without it in professional photos and video.

My sister got married two weeks ago. I think I'm pretty but it's okay to admit that without any makeup in her wedding pictures I would've looked tired and sick.

No one needs makeup but don't be surprised if you don't look great without it in HD technicolor lol.

Was the groom wearing makeup? How about his groomsmen?

I’m glad to hear that’s vintage! I saw it and thought cute but looks very late 80s early 90s. If it’s vintage that makes sense.

Yes, it does have a vintage look, and I kind of like it, not gonna lie. Reminds me of early 90s prom dresses.

Well… the President definitely wears makeup and he’s a man.

I really like it. And she has a killer figure, so it looks particularly good on her.

Yes, and he looks like a f—king clown. Thanks for proving the point.

But is it “internalized misogyny” that convinces him to wear it?

You only think that because you’re conditioned to seeing women with their faces painted like clowns. You’ve forgotten what human women actually look like.

This is the same reasoning that leads young women to get awful plastic surgery so their actual faces look like Instagram filters.

If you truly think a little blush and mascara for an immediate family member's wedding is the same as unnecessary plastic surgery you're insane.

The only point she proved is that someone who is photographed and videoed a shit ton as part of his job knows that he needs makeup. He applies it very poorly. But he at least seems to understand that he needs it.

Do you really think men who are photographed and recorded a lot aren't wearing makeup? Sorry to burst your bubble but male news anchors, for example, are wearing just as much makeup as their female counterparts.

Kind of has an Ivanna era look. Missing the updo, though!

There don’t seem to be any clear pictures of them, but even with her eyes closed in this picture, she looks stunning.

She’s a very attractive woman but stunning? No. This is a nice, blurry photo. She has a lovely smile. She looks happiest next to her sleazy husband, which is kind of tragic.

Look, I get that your political hangups prevent you from simply discussing fashion/beauty, but maybe grow up and leave your political sniping on the political forum.

She does indeed look stunning.

Contrary to your opinion it’s possible for multiple thoughts to exist in one’s head at the same time. I think she’s a fascist but she is a reasonably attractive woman. She usually dresses pretty poorly but was nicely coiffed at this event. No, she’s not “stunning.” You can feel free to think so and I can feel free to disagree.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Older white women think she's "stunning" because she's different. They're the same type of people that 30-40 years ago would tell me my South Asian mom she was "exotic".

I think her face is really pretty in this photo.

Is part of the issue her makeup?

Absolutely, she has her makeup done for occasions like this one, but on the day to day, she doesn't use the right makeup or she doesn't use ENOUGH makeup for someone that is photographed as much as she is. I get it, I hate wearing heavy makeup, but she and I both have those dark under eye circles that make us look haggard and they require a LOT of concealer.

My 28 year old brother told me he wears tinted sunscreen every day and a lot of his friends do, too. Does that count?

Annnnd, she's back. Nope. Her ethnicity has nothing to do with her attractiveness, sorry. Stop trying to bring your race issues into this discussion.

Men absolutely get hair and make-up done for public appearances. My male boss jokes about it, but he knows he needs to do it when he's on stage and under lights.

Hair and makeup look fabulous too.

TBH, I think that neckline does not flatter her. She's got nice arms and shoulders, but the contrast of the white, the width of the fold, and the over-the-arm band hide those.

Overall, though, it's a better-than-average look for Usha.

She looks horrible.
I hate that dress you are right it does not flatter her.
