Because karma is delicious, no matter what form. There is no twisting the knife - cheaters twist their own knives. They alone are responsible for all lasting repercussions, including infamy. In real life, in the real world, actions have consequences. It's sad that you're resorting to some overdone "get off the internet" speech to try and make people feel bad for enjoying life's karma. |
This is DELICIOUS karma. I’ve been the wife in a situation like this (same ages). It’s so satisfying to watch them scramble like cockroaches. |
^ let me clarify the “betrayed wife”, not the cheating one lol |
Well said. And the video and that shocker photo…people old —way old enough to know better and arrogant as hell. That is going to be a meme (shocker photo) for a long time! |
No, I’ve seen the life-long consequences of cheating first-hand. It’s not every day you get to see the Karma Fairy in live action. Only cheaters like you are making excuses. |
I do feel badly that the wife and husband have to deal with the spotlight. But I’m pretty convinced they know full well who their spouses are and made their decisions with eyes wide open. |
I don’t know why strangers care that people are having an affair. They are dumb but the vitriol about these people is a bit much. |
Yes, that’s it. Everything about both of them suggests that they don’t think the rules of business, love, and life apply to them. That’s why I kind of love this story. |
+1 BILLION |
It’s rich of you to assume I’m a cheater. My parents are long divorced due to cheating on one of their parts. I just think it’s trashy for losers like you piling onto people while you live in a glass house. |
You care enough to keep reading and posting on page 42. Why is that? Strikes me as a level below the people you are criticizing. |
Cabot is married to Andrew Cabot, chief executive of Privateer Rum and direct descendant of an eighteenth-century New England privateer-turned-distiller. The couple also bought a $2.2-million home in the seaside town of Rye, New Hampshire, just five months before the concert. A workplace-conduct probe now runs in parallel with a burst of curiosity about craft spirits, old maritime fortunes, and modern start-up culture.
She was having an affair with this guy…so her former husband filed, and just a few years in she’s cheating on the guy she had the affair with. Good lord |
Who knew Chris Martin could bring the country together like this? |
Because it actually has nothing to do with these specific people. It's relatable to many. It's nice to see some real life consequences. My ex didn't just betray me, he betrayed my family who are perhaps more hurt than I was by the actions of someone they thought was a truly decent human being. At least I had strong suspicions that perhaps he wasn't all the upright after all. I didn't have to ask friends to pick a side. They all voted with their feet. Kind of wild. I hope he's squirming just a little bit every time he hears a Coldplay song this week. This is for all us us. The betrayed spouses, the families and friends. |
Omg, I just spit out my coffee!! |
