| I had my first IUI on 11/19 and have been using progesterone suppositories as prescribed by my doctor. After the IUI they told me they would call me when it's time to take a pregnancy test at home, but they never really told me when that would be. Today is 14 days post trigger shot, and 12 days post IUI and I haven't gotten my period, which I normally would have by now based on past cycles. I know the progesterone can impact that - do you actually get your period while taking progesterone, or not until you stop? I have had a tiny bit of spotting on and off and some very mild cramps, so it feels like AF is on its way, but it just isn't coming. I haven't tested yet as I was waiting for my RE's office to call, but maybe I will tomorrow AM. |
| You're probably fine to test at home, by 14 days most likely the trigger is out of your system. You just can't be sure until they confirm with a blood test. From reading, I think people have different reactions to getting AF while on progesterone--sometimes it's delayed, other times it breaks through. Hope you get a BFP! |
| PP said it all. |

Just take a pregnancy test.
FWIW, I always tested to see how long trigger stayed in my body with cheap wonfro tests, and it was always gone by the transfer date for IVFs. (Six days later, essentially) Good luck! |
| I see that as a good sign! I started testing 10 days past IUI and started getting a positive immediately. |
| I never got my period while on inserts, but about 2-3 days after stopping. |
Same here. You'll need to test. Fingers crossed for you! |
