| Is it common for straight women to have close friendships with straight men? |
| Yes. Most of my friends are women and plenty of them are straight. |
no |
yes |
| Yes. I'm a married lesbian (been with wife almost 25 years). My 2 best friends are straight women who are happily married to their husbands. We talk almost every day, spend holidays and vacations together. |
| I'm a straight woman, and some of my closest friends are lesbians. |
| OP here. What about bi women? I ask because as a bi woman I have been rejected by lesbian women for dating regularly. Many say they just prefer to date other lesbians. This rejection has sort of made me shy around lesbians. Where if I meet one who I'd like to strike up a friendship with I hold back for fear of rejection. Sort of left over residue from being rejected for dating. |

Straight woman whose best friend is a lesbian.
And NO she never comes on to me (and NO we don't have pillow fights). However, her current GF is hot..maybe if I wasn't married. |
yep. |

Married lesbian here. Been with my wife almost 20y. 99% of my closest friends are straight woman. They are friends from high school and college (before I came out) and now parents of my kids' friends (we all hang out at swim practice, school events, babysit each others kids.)
The only time it is an issue is "girls night out" (ie. going to happy hour or whatever) when the dads are watching the kids. But we enlist one of the dads to take our kids so we can both go. No big deal.
