What is your opinion regarding the quality of their furniture? If you don't like it, do you have a recommendation for another store in the similar price range. Thanks.
We ordered a sofa from them. It seems to be good quality (springs not just foam). But it's HUGE, and better suited for a McMansion which we don't own. A lot of their furniture seems to be scaled for larger rooms.

We bought a sectional sofa from them about 3 years ago. We got the foam-down hybrid cushions, and while they're incredibly comfortable, they tend to lose their shape. I'm looking into getting foam-only cushions to get the sofa back into its former "shape". The upholstery is from their "soft cotton" line and is quite comfortable. So far, we've never had problems with the frame or anything structural.
I would recommend measuring and remeasuring your space, elevator or stairwells, and doorway for the sofa. We are in a 1BR condo, and while the sofa is large, it fits our space well. We had to get the sectional, however, because our original order for the 3-cushion sofa wouldn't fit in our building's elevator! But RH was good enough to let us trade it for the sectional. |
we got a bed and a couch and a chaise from them. And lamps. Excellent quality. Def a step up from Crate and Barrell, etc. But dont get the down cushions. Get foam. Way better, less squishy. And the furniture is all enormous!~
Other options (non-chain to boot!) in the same price range are Urban Essentials on 13th and U NW - they have a lot more stuff and tons of fabric options than are even in the store, just ask for help, and Michel Gold & Bob Williams on 14th between about P and R somewhere. Very nice quality stuff as well.
PP here - I meant *Mitchell* Gold & Bob Williams
Second the suggestions for Urban Essentials and MG-BW. I have pieces from both and love them. Urban Essentials has a lot of smaller sized pieces that work well in smaller spaces. MG-BW is having a sample sale now too. We got tons of stuff for a new house there last summer.
