HGTVs newest annoying host award....

I would let that hot mess touch your house?

I find her very high energy and imagine she'd be exhausting to work with; but I would have her do my house in a heartbeat.
She improves function without a major remodel. She stays on or under budget. She tries to sell and/or re-use and therefore doesn't waste absolutely everything unnecessarily. She's fun and has a great sense of humor. Her designs come out great.

Don’t care for Allison Victoria’s style.

I find Good Bones to be boring.

I used to like Nate and Jeremiah but have not cared for their style lately.

Most annoying host is Nicole Curtis, but her style and projects are my probably my favorite of the recent lineup.

I still miss divine design.

LOOOVVED Divine Design! Casual Elegance unmatched!
But I like Nicole Curtis - why do you find her annoying?

I love DB - he’s really so talented and fun to watch but I hate him on that lottery show. He doesn’t act natural. The premise of that show just irks me to begin with.

This is one of the few shows where the talent actually helps the people on the show instead of showing up to a done deal. He has said that many of the lottery winners are smart and don’t spend all the money on the house, which is why some of the homes are modest.

How does he actually help people? he doesn't do a thing but play intermediary between the local real estate agent and the show's guests. I could do that.

I don't particularly like her but I like the designs and that they are doing, for once, a show where it's not all about gutting the whole place. This seems a lot more realistic for a lot of people. HGTV in its early days offered a lot more shows that were about improving the look and function of your house without knocking down all the walls and I miss that.

+1000!!!!

Design on a Dime
Designing for the Sexes
Curb Appeal

Bring practicality back!!!!
And please no more property brothers shows - they are annoying and just demo absolutely everything. Such a waste.

Lately? Recent? Have their shows gotten more season?

Nate and Jeremiah was a TLC show pre-covid.
Rehab Addict (Nicole Curtis) ended in 2014. There were two spin off attempts, but nothing in the last two years.

She just had one start last month. She did a house in Wyoming and the next episode is supposed to be back in Detroit; but I haven't been able to find that next episode.

Nooooooo! I like him.

Though, that is a terrible show. Their "Lottery Dream Homes" are nothing like my version of a lottery dream home. I want escapism.

You won $5M in the lottery and your lottery dream home is a $175k shack in Ohio? More power to you, but it's not much fun to watch.

Yes! Live it up people. Only once has a guest on the show bought a true dream home.

Everyone's "dream home" is unique to them. For some, just owning a home is their dream home.
That's about the only thing I like about that show. Yes, David is extremely personable and nice - but annoying. And he is completely unnecessary to the show. He doesn't even find the houses for them. It's just "house hunters" with lottery winners and without a real estate agent.

Most of HGTV is escapism these days. Nothing actually practical or relatable.

The El Moussas and former Christine El Moussa. The entire franchise. Horrible.
They are such superficial people. It was obvious when their original show began that their marriage wasn't going to last. He is such an arrogant and materialistic SOB and she's superficial and unwarrantedly confident. Every time her stupid Jacuzzi commercial comes on, I can't hit "mute" fast enough. Such a strange inflection in her script reading.

I can't deal with the woman on down home fab. Her fake eyelashes, extensions and heavy makeup are really distracting, and her design style is weird.

Also not a fan of Cristina or Tarik.

Love Nicole Curtis, the home town couple and the couple who is based in Indiana or Iowa or wherever. I'm completely blanking on their names, but they seem nice. I also have a soft spot for Jon knight from NKOTB. His renovations are nice and he seems like a sweet person.

Ah! Thanks.
Seems she's had some "life" happen the past few years and she's still struggling to manage it all. Hope she can get it together for the fall.
