| Many states do not require "residency" in order to vote, for college students. So no, they can register to vote but keep their residency elsewhere. They just cannot vote in both places, obviously. |

Alabama, Arkansas and Kansas aren’t happening but other than those that’s the Biden landslide map right there. |
Thanks, PP! |
what a weird ad. |
it's 270 to win, right? This is all we need and all the states that are virtually guaranteed |
Thanks, phone banker! I will be phone banking for Wisconsin. We need more people... |
|
a lot of states threw hissy fits about college students voting there, so I have no idea what any of their current rules are
there must be a list somewhere with the current laws on that I know I went door to door at my college in NC to try to get people registered to vote there (we really wanted to beat that bigot Jesse Helms) in 1996. I had already absentee voted back home in DE where I had spent the summer volunteering on Joe's campaign, but it was really great that they were allowing college students to register to vote where they were for election day. |
While true, part of the goal is to ensure there isn't a viable legal appeal path that could overturn the result. As such, you need to look at viable other states to help turn blue. Just getting to 270 means Trump needs one appeal to get to the Supreme Court to "potentially" win. |
|
oh, I wasn't saying that we shouldn't attempt a landslide, and yes, your point is well taken about the possibility of lawsuits. just that these states are the ones we should win without much trouble.
The rest is just icing. |
I think AZ, WI and possibly NC are "in the bag" as well. |
| Wisconsin will go to Trump. As someone who has been through WI and esp rural WI, Trump signs are ubiquitous. |
I was just there Saturday, but remember: land doesn’t vote. |
They’re all over the place in rural Maryland. Guess it’s going for Trump too! |
Biden is polling anywhere from +6 to +8 and the dem ground game this is is super strong. The Wisconsin Dems have done an incredible job for the past two years, and are topping off fundraising this year with a VEEP reunion. |
