My kid is a junior this year, but where I am-they are going to be considered 'graduated' on the official last day of school here.
I'd use that date. And it's not wrong to send announcements, in these circumstances-the kids have lost so much, can't you let them have that? Sheesh. |
What distant family? Those you’re not really in touch with who don’t know you have a kid graduating and have nothing to do with your family? Those who know you have a kid graduating and have something to do with your family? |
Let THEM have that? The kids don’t care about the announcements themselves. They aren’t super excited about having “that.” Sure- they’ll like the gifts they elicit. |
