05s have one win, fourteen losses, four draws. 28 listed on their roster on their page of ECNL’s site (some 06s, but also some 05s on the 04 team). If your daughter is good, she’ll get selected but she better be prepared to fight for every minute and crack into a huge roster.

The 05s don't operate week to week with a roster of 28 - the real roster size is 15. I think that rostering tactic (i.e., putting those 06s on the 05 roster) is to provide flexibility for more 06s to rotate in to 06 ECNL games (the 06s have two full squads, one plays in NCSL and another in ECNL - with fluid rosters) - those girls don't play with the 05s on a regular basis. This past season, a few 05s played up with the 04s when they had injuries and a few 06s guest played with the 05s to help fill gaps when those 2-3 05s were playing up with the 04s. Also, a couple of kids listed on the 05 roster online have moved on and aren't playing with the team anymore.

Thanks for the insight. Any thoughts re: coaching and the team's future prospects? Do they have a shot at making the Champions League?

They have a shot at champions league. If your dd is a top player then she should consider bryc 05.

The club hasn't made any official announcements regarding coaching for next fall, but assuming they keep their existing staff, I think they'll continue the approach that was put in place right before the season ended. For the 05s, that meant that Tyler Mishalow was the head coach, and Will, Amanda, and Abe helped run the training. That same coaching staff has been in place through the COVID-19 situation - running Zoom meetings, virtual socials, skills competitions, etc.

How do you believe that a team with 1 win out of their last 19 games has a shot at the Champions League. That is some next level optimistic gas lighting.

You are an ASSHOLE! Kids bust their butt, and you’re sitting on your dad ass critiquing them. I’m glad your perfect and your kid is perfect. BRYC is a great club and if you don’t think so who cares. What team does your kid play for that makes you high and mighty?

I’m not questioning how hard the kids work. I’m questioning how you believe that a team with one win will turn things around and be a Champions League contending team next year? And if you are actively asking players to join the team that would indicate that you do not believe you currently have the horses, hard working as they are, to get the job done.

A one win team is more than one or two players away.

Don't see the coaching lineup for next year so if no announcements yet, has BRYC started sending out team offers?

When is coaching slate announced?

Loudoun and McLean are in full swing with offers so where's BRYC with the process?

What’s the hurry, in the middle of a pandemic and tryouts have not happened

In Loudoun’s case, they need to get those deposits in to pay the mortgage. Maybe Mclean is in a similar boat.
