Pp is right. Second pic already seen those in mags and ig
1st pic, have seen white couches like those. Of course 80s styles will be back |
This is giving me feelings. ![]() |
It is already back. Nods to art deco, which influenced the 80s and Memphis, are already back. It’s important to realize that midcebtiry modern grew out of the late deco style and eventually the pendulum will swing back. |
I love those glass blocks, I want them in my bathroom! I like mixing elements of modern, 80s and mid century. I live in an 80s contemporary home though so it's not out of place |

There with you |
It's back. Have you seen Katherine Bernhardt's house?

The peachy room doesn't look too bad. If there were hardwood floors instead of carpet it could pass today (especially if the wall art was replaced). |
simply. Agreed. I think I've been in about 20 of those. We'll if gen z is hurting for money, they will definitely make a resurgence with hand me downs |
“The Goldbergs home is quite different 80s than your images OP
(And would be my preference ![]() |
I remember 80s as that green marble, dark mahogany or cherry furniture, forest green fabric or carpet, floral couches and curtains with large flowers n burgundy, dark green or navy, plaid wallpaper in those colors, brass fixtures, paintings of retrievers with ducks in their mouths, those wood decoy ducks everywhere. Basically what a midwesterner thought a British clubhouse with duck hunting would have in it. |
OMG all of that that you posted is awful. |
My mom's 80s kitchen was "mauve" and "millennial pink" has been popular for the past 5-10 years so I'd say the 80s have been back for a while! |
