Hanna Andersson changed their return policy

Ugh, yes I think that is what happened. The link says HA was bought by L Catterton "the largest consumer focused private equity firm in the world." That is really disappointing.

I think they’re following in Gymboree’s footsteps, unfortunately.

Don't your kids wear slips under loose low necked or flimsy shirts? I buy camisoles/tanks. I don't want my kid bending down and showing everything when she is playing.

OP here - so i looked up the slip - it was $36 (but i purchased 2 of them). I put them under her dresses. It makes them fuller and some of her dresses are not lined, so it provides comfort as an undershirt and light cotton skirt under her dresses.

It is just my preference to maintain some traditional ways to dress my daughter.

I believe they hired the former Gymboree CEO so I agree, the future is not bright for HA

They no longer ship to stores but the limit for free shipping was reduced from $100 to $49, so it is not that big of a deal to get free shipping anymore

Why do they want your old, out of season crap back just because you left the tags on? They can’t resell it.

You people are crazy. But I already knew that because spending $$$ on Hanna stuff is crazy.

So basically the Laura Ingalls look.

Very disappointed in them lately. Bought one shirt from them which was lost in the mail. Latest boys designs are not attractive at all.

FYI - I regularly find HA stuff at TJ Maxx and Marshall's these days. Quality is crap compared to a few years ago. At discount store prices, I don't mind. I won't shop in store again. Even on sale there it's not worth it. Crew cuts on sale is way better quality.

Really? I gave up on J Crew for myself years ago when the quality tanked and assumed the kids stuff was the same. You find it better than HA or somewhere like Gap?

PP here - I won't shop for myself at J Crew either, but the kids stuff is better quality! They have great sales so the prices are in line with Gap but they last longer. I also tend to prefer their styles over Gap and Old Navy.

I now only buy HA when it is at least 40% off, and almost always I can find stuff 50% off, as they seem to have a 50% off sale every couple of months.
