| Tattoos are out of fashion but people can't stop wearing them . It's sad. Like a permanent bad hair look. |
| I'm 33 and don't like tattoos. I think it's yuck. That's said, there a difference between a hidden tattoo and the idea of showing tattoos in the workplace. Its gone too far. Those tend to look dirty in my opinion. |

Tattoos make various statements.
Tattoos on a woman’s face neck and upper chest say: I was abused as a child and just can’t get over it. Those same tattoos on a man say either: I’m a food or barista worker or I got very bored in prison or both. Lower back tats on women: yeah tramp stamp or “I thought I was very cool 20 years ago” Big black tribal tats on white men: I wish I were a brown person. Patches of tattoos here there and everywhere: I drink a lot. (And secretly hate myself) A great big elaborate tattoo (sleeve, chest, back) I thought the girl with the dragon tattoo was so wonderful. Little tiny tats that you can’t see: I want to be cool but not like above. |
| ‘84 born, and yes I think they’re a big mistake for most people who have them |
| I think tattoos can look badass on the right person. Athletes, actors, musicians, etc. |
That's not true. Tattoos are IN fashion. But that can and will change. |
Lol. Yeah but like so many trends, they don’t look so hot on us mere mortals. |
Sometimes those women with face and neck tattoos are trafficking victims. |
Of course not —that’s something moms have! |
+1. I don’t think they are trashy I just don’t care for them/think they usually don’t look good/wonder why someone thought this thing/word was so great that they needed to get it tattooed on their body. |

I’m a millennial and yes I do think there are tons of tattoos that are very trashy. Weird ugly cartoons.
Also, if you get a neck or thigh tattoo you’re basically telling the world you’ve given up. |
| I am a millennial without tattoos. My husband and siblings don't have tattoos either. I think some are trashy and some are beautiful. It would be unlikely I would ever get one, but I could see it getting something small if I had an incredibly strong connection to something or someone I lost and wanted that with me all the time. |
Haha, right. That pretty much sums it up for me |
There’s a lot of white fragility on this thread...nothing wrong or nasty about PP’s statement. |
Except the thread isn't "what don't you like about white people" It is about tattoos. To which this PP offers no opinion what so ever. |
