It states at the top of page 2 of the memo that the chairman was provided copies of the FISA documents.

p.s. And, some of it has been refuted. Didn't the dossier say that one of Trump's lawyers and met with Russians in Prague? That was strongly refuted. Pretty sure that other claims were refuted, as well.

Steele had already worked with the FBI and had a good reputation. That means that the FBI did not assume that he would make up facts depending upon who is paying him.

DP. It is incumbent on those applying for a FISA warrant to provide verified and accurate information to the court. Seems as if this was not done in this case.
This really needs to be investigated. I wonder how frequently unverified information is presented to the court. Is this an anomaly, or is this routine?

It's not a problem when you're using that information for an INVESTIGATION. If the FBI had already confirmed all that info then they'd be arresting people for crimes. The dossier isn't a charging document - it's evidence that needs to be INVESTIGATED. See the difference?

The information about Page had been verified. Does it matter where Trump goes, if the issue is who Page talks to?
