Why do schools give preference to siblings? What's the logic?

Sheridan does not automatically accept siblings. They give priority to sibling and alum applicants. If a sibling is not a good fit the family will be counseled to apply elsewhere. This is one of the reasons they give priority applicants the info early - if they aren't a good fit, they have time to apply to a school that is.
