My DC shares math class with the girl and also the VMT. It sounds like this girl is not very well liked by other classmates or other VMT members. Not considered one of the top students at TJ.

Some TJ students already confirmed on Sunday that Prof. Harris didn't send the email. TJ apparently knows who had sent the email and thinks its probably one of the students.

one possibility which must be considered is that this girl and family could actually be the victims, not perpetrators, in this entire scheme. still doesn't explain how that chosun article was published but this is still a distinct possibility.
