I've done that by leaving something on the bottom of the shopping cart, or stuck behind a jacket or my purse in the cart. It happens all the time. I think it's weird that OP has a concern that using a stroller equates to thoughts of shop lifting. |
No, most people don't think an infant should be put in a cart. |
these strollers? Not really smaller than my jogging stroller was. I have an older baby jogger model still that is about the size of their current city mini. But you go on thinking your urban jungle strollers are equivalent in size to the small fold umbrellas... |
I go with the stroller! I have had people ask if I wanted a cart, and I say "What would I do with the stroller?"
The store by my house won't let people bring in big bags, if you do, it has to go to the front desk. I tried telling them my daughters inhaler was in the diaper bag, but they saied "Take it out, and put the bag at the desk. You can't shop here with a big bag like that" |
Stop worrying what others (and morons here) think! I walked everywhere when I was on maternity leave, including to Whole Foods. Who's suggesting you check your stroller at the door just so you can shop with an actual cart? I think it's fine to use your stroller, plus with a kid so small, putting them in the cart isn't an option. It doesn't really matter, OP, you do what you need to do. I can't believe people have such strong opinions about these things. |
