| When Kate said "I don't want to speak for them", then did, and told mady to talk and mady said "you said it." LOL. Not did those girls pay for that once they were off air though. |

| Dh has a friend who works for People (Time Inc) and said Kate came to them over a period of months and pitched different angles and finally People settled on an update with the older girls. Payout was less than 20k. Doesn't seem worth it. |

According to Jon, the beautiful house they live in belongs to the kids, they go to private school and have college funds plus other trusts. Jon and Kate were smart about saving the money that was made while on TLC.
The kids are set financially, they don't need to be on reality tv, this is something Kate wants because she loves the fame, money, lifestyle. |
