| $1400 with ins. and taxes. I'm not sure what this thread really tells you though without knowing location, size of house, when purchased, etc... |

$3300 in Capitol Hill
$1900 in Columbia Heights |
No more than 28% of your income. |
when i originally did our mortgage I made sure I could pay it on one paycheck, not two. My DH has been ill so I have been doing ok with the payment but struggling just a tad, nothing I couldn't correct with some smarter choices. Just did the math and I was at exactly 28% of my income. So this is good advice! |
| PITI + Condo Fee = $2765, but that's with overpayments on principal, taxes and insurance. Paying the minimum required, it probably goes down to just under $2500, all in. |
we'd be screwed if my husband was out of work. My current income would cover the mortgage...and that is IT! I guess he could bring in unemployment, right? *Crossing fingers that my husband never is out of work* |
is it 28% of gross or net? |
| $3560 PITI, but the 1/3 of that is in a 15 year loan instead of a 30. |
Same CCDC |
| $1976 zero down |
| Our mortgage payment is 2.8% of income. |
| $7000. Includes taxes and our second mortgage. 1.2k, chevy chase MD |
Humblebrag |
No, I'm pretty sure that was a straight out brag, nothing humble about it. |
I hope you mean $1.2 million, not thousand. |
